Kranj Region – Naklo Municipality
We will be accommodated at Hotel Brdo, a distinctive establishment located in the Kranj region, precisely in the Naklo municipality, in northwestern Slovenia. This area is renowned for its natural beauty, rich history, and its proximity to the capital, Ljubljana.
In this area, we will be surrounded by lush nature, featuring forests, hills, and fields, making it an ideal location for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. Moreover, there are castles and historical monuments that reflect Slovenia’s cultural heritage.
The estate was formerly owned by the Yugoslav royal family and later became a meeting place for high-level political and diplomatic leaders. The entire Brdo estate encompasses two areas: Grajski Park Brdo covering 70 hectares and the enclosed forest work area, where a natural reserve of animals spans almost 430 hectares.
The entire estate is designated as a cultural monument of national importance and a natural value of national importance due to the diversity of rows and habitats, as well as the forest with special purposes, ecological importance zone, and Natura 2000 protected area. It is a place where all attendees, leaders in seals and gaskets , can reflect, enjoy, and share experiences from their respective countries.
